We wish to thank to all our contributors and readers for their patience and to apologise for the delays. In a year so rich in events commemorating World War One, National Archives of Romania organized an exhibition that highlights the efforts of the Romanian Army to recover and stop the advance of the enemy in Moldova, which in was all that was left of Romania.
Our micro-exhibition presents three 19th century milestones in the abolition of capital punishment in Romanian Principalities reflected in archival documents: The purpose of the project is to create a public database containing the digitized genealogical collections of the National Archives of Romania in Bucharest and Brasov.
